Education and Research

Advises on and co-ordinates with AIMA’s London office any educational or research items required for local use, including terms of reference, ensures distribution of all educational and research material among appropriate members of local contact list; identified educational/research topics for use in local marketplace.

Media and Communications

In liaison with AIMA Ltd, co-ordinates any press events or communication and local distribution of AIMA research/reports to appropriate media; maintains the AIMA Cayman website; and provides a quarterly review of Chapter activities to AIMA office in London. The chapter can educate on a country’s range of expertise but should not be seen to be promoting a jurisdiction.

Event Co-ordination

Co-ordinates any AIMA Cayman Chapter events, including sourcing speakers, booking appropriate venues and distributing materials at the event.

Independent Directors

This will be comprised of one person from each relevant industry sector and will act as a forum for discussing and proposing matters relevant to the position of the independent director in Cayman’s financial industry.
